Our UX team has decided to start using icon fonts for more and more mobile design, but some of the designs have been waiting for development before that ultimate decision was made. We purchased some icon webfonts to begin designing with - some matched the same vector sets we bought to use previously - but for now there were still some custom vector icons I had made to fit our needs beforehand and this will still need to happen moving forward. 

Although I see many times where the rise and enormous growth of the internet and mobile make it more and more difficult to disconnect, my lifestyle has been effected in other ways. In fact, the growth and commonality in which the internet has entwined into our lives has made it easier for me to lead a rural lifestyle away from the city.
