Although I see many times where the rise and enormous growth of the internet and mobile make it more and more difficult to disconnect, my lifestyle has been effected in other ways. In fact, the growth and commonality in which the internet has entwined into our lives has made it easier for me to lead a rural lifestyle away from the city. Many times when conversation rises about technology being used for good, we think about obvious large changes in the world such as applications that blurr the international lines of business, communication and basic human needs. Translations and clean water initiatives in your back pocket, and technology being produced for third world countries to take part in amazing new learning opportunities are amazing feats that are rolling out daily it seems. That is truly awesome.
